This only occurs with Word for Mac 2016 Version 16.11 and does not seem to affect other Office products. STATUS: FIXED. This issue has been fixed in version 16.11.1 or higher. To get the latest update, open an Office for Mac application, go to the Help Check for Updates menu, and follow the instructions in the AutoUpdate app. More Resources.

ISSUE
You may have problems launching Word for Mac 2016. When this happens, the Word icon bounces in the Dock and Word never opens. You will have to Force Quit.
Reset microsoft office 2011 mac. This only occurs with Word for Mac 2016 Version 16.11 and does not seem to affect other Office products.
STATUS: FIXED
This issue has been fixed in version 16.11.1 or higher. To get the latest update, open an Office for Mac application, go to the Help > Check for Updates menu, and follow the instructions in the AutoUpdate app.
